Reinhard Bonnke

I spent several days under the teaching of Reinhard Bonnke in June 2008. It was a great time of learning and impartation. Reinhard regularly sees miraculous healings and the dead being raised through his ministry, Christ for All Nations.

Here are some of my notes and quotes from the meetings. Enjoy and may your faith and boldness be strengthened.

“I prayed and I fasted and said, ‘Lord, this cannot be it. this cannot be the only effect of the glorious gospel. There must be more.’

“Plunder hell to populate Heaven!

“Jesus said, ‘You shall receive power.’ He said it, and it must happen.

“People say they’re waiting for God. Since the day of Pentecost, the light turned green, and Jesus says go and preach!

“Once you’ve been dipped in the river of fire, you will be a fire-man. Fire will be all over you. Fire will be dripping off of you.

“The Gospel is a gospel of power or it is nothing at all.

“When you are on fire, no demon will touch you because he know he will get burned. Flies like to sit on a cold stone.

“If you want an evangelist to fail, have him preach to a room full of Christians. Jesus said he will make us fishers of men, evangelists.

“You must desire the fire, and claim you flame!

“When you do business with people, you need money. When you do business with God, you need faith. Faith is the currency of Heaven.

“If you want the power of God, Jesus says, ‘Only believe.’ If you only believe, you will receive.

“In John 14:16 Jesus has asked the Father to give you the Holy Spirit. Jesus gets what he asks for. That is why you receive, not because you ask, but because Jesus asked.

“If you are doing nothing, God doesn’t need to give you any help in doing nothing. Go out and do something impossible for Jesus, and then God will help you.

“God says that, “My word in your mouth is as powerful as my word in my mouth, the power is in the word!’

“The Holy Spirit is a healing spirit. When the Holy Spirit is present, anything is possible.

“Faith compels God to act. Jesus finds faith irresistible. Faith can compel God to act early, ahead of the planned time. You can compel him to act on your behalf.

“If you want to receive, you’ve got to expect something. If God is moving, you’ve got to do something. You’ve got to respond.

“When Jesus sees a heart that can’t wait, He cant wait either. At the wedding at Cana, Jesus may have done nothing if it wasn’t for Mary’s faith. How many situations are we in now that God won’t act without our faith?

“If you will respond to His word, He will respond to you.

“Anyone can believe when God is already moving. But real faith is when you step out when it seems that God is not moving.”
